Take a normal food photo or add a short text entry. On-device image labeling can help find likely food photos.
Less logging, more living
Lazy Calories turns food photos and quick text entries into calorie and macro estimates, then keeps the day’s totals in one place.
Android closed testing is being prepared. Public availability will follow testing.
A quieter food diary
Give the app access to the photos you choose, let it find likely food, and decide what counts. You can also add a meal as text when there is no photo.

When you ask for analysis, selected images or meal text are sent securely for an AI calorie and macro estimate.
Edit an estimate, group meal photos, change serving multipliers, or leave an image out of your daily total.
Useful, not fussy
Lazy Calories is designed for quick review instead of constant data entry. AI estimates are a starting point, and you remain in control of the record.
Record repeat servings without duplicating an entry.
Group several angles, a menu, or a receipt as context for one meal.
Review daily and multi-day calorie progress against your personal budget.
Use Health Connect for burned calories, weight, and nutrition sync when you grant access.
Designed with boundaries
Meal records stay in the app’s local database. Photo labeling happens on your device. Photos or meal text leave the device only when a feature needs hosted AI processing. There are no advertising trackers on this website.
